Guest bigda Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Not me Rab, Billy will tear them up, you know that if billy rips the knitting out of it, will i be proved right the forefathers made a mistake about opning the race up to strays from everywhere, when it was only realy ment to be known as the first central federation, as it chose ireland and north of scotland as its race points first, with the modern technology we have now it should not be hard for the national to apply a handicap ruling, to birds now flying you all know distance kills yet you allow short flying. times should be made up with the first bird in the north, and the first in the west, then east and then a ruling placed on wind against or for. not just on velocity alone.

Guest bigda Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 You write the formula out Danny and i will get some super intelligent folk to look over it for ye mate they all ready have a laser meridian line, we have also got GPS, THEY USE A LASER LINE IN BOAT RACES,only a matter of placing a magnetic coded chip, in birds ring add 3 horizontal lines from the meiridian line and then place the first laser 500 mile away from lancaster and one at 400 mile and one at lancaster wining line. just like a grand national 2 or 3 races on the one day or use the phone network the sat can turn your accout off and it can also tell you where your phone is. the only down side to it would be after wining the race you are in the hands of the gods to get your bird back home to the north or west after you won the race. choose lancaster as that is the start of our hills but could be set up east or west at sea
elanco Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 As long as billy has access to fly with the UNC week in and week out then he's going to take some stopping, IMO, and of course he also puts the hard work into them training wise as well. There could be many an inland & young bird winning trophy heading his way over the next few years, but more interest for me will be how he does in the main races, alencon, ancenis & clermont. Good luck to him and everyone competing in these up coming Nationals.
