dal2 Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 East/nor east which was quite cold. 5 blaw hames on the trot and then a hard yin???? that always does the job
Tony C Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 East winds bring mist up the River Trent = poor visibility Peregrine's are known to be there. I'm a believer in that early libs in cold weather gives you a bad race.

walterboswell59 Posted May 25, 2014 Author Report Posted May 25, 2014 guys with a north east wind it was always two be hard the birds don't like it and as for yearlings better kept at home , jmomust agree with you john hate east winds but but i was getting hammered in great weather with south west winds and so were most of our fed so could not blame the east wind winning birds did it in good time but heavy losses and lots of birds injured this happened almost every time we went to these race points like i said was wondering if we were getting it as birds crossed from east to west or if they were getting hit at the race point and all the way home
