Fly_caster Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 (edited) Could be as simple as a blocked duct. Looks like it needs an anti-biotic at this stage, other wise I would have said something like Nasaline or other decongestant. I once had a bird, not at this late stage, with something similar - commonly referred to as "Fat Eye" - google that - it might give you some insight. ATB, Steve Edited March 29, 2014 by Fly_caster
Guest big50cal Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 It's called bogeye it respiteory keep it away for your birds it needs a antibiotics injection
walterboswell59 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 looks like a cyst to me i had a good stock hen like this a few years ago it will do the bird no harm but i would not race it if im right eye drops dont work i tried all sorts i ended up stiching the eye lids together as she was always getting dirt and dust in it making it more inflamed not pretty but i still have her and she has bred 3 firsts
philg50 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Is this not an advanced stage of one eye cold ,is there bubbles in the fluid surrounding eye ,could be past that stage imo!!

walterboswell59 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 does not look like the same thing to me tony as only the bottom of the eye in guys pigeon is swollen but then again there are a few things could cause this
Delboy Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Tonys correct here, it can be much more severe but its definitely haemophilus imo.
