Thanks guys the police have not been informed as I had to get to work

Not to much damage but it's the intent that is the worrying part.. couldn't bear thought off my pigeons getting torched alive worst nightmare

Its disheartening and sickening to see how some people get their kicks these days, to set fire to a loft of defenceless and harmless birds which bring so much enjoyment to their owners is just beyond belief. Sorry to hear about this George I hope the evil scum that have attempted to burn your lofts are caught. I would keep my guard up though as sadly to say theres a good possibility they may return again having failed to succeed the first time. :( :(

We pigeon people have a heck of a lot of things to put up with. It feels sometimes like we are in a battle for survival.

If it had been falcons it would have been on the scottish news tonight

And the army would be guarding them by now

Keep your head up George

Sorry to hear this George ,this seams to be the same people that are

Carrying out this same act as the other lofts that were burnt, keep a

Baseball bat handy ,and report it to the police.

can u dig a 3/4ft wide hole around your loft? if so dig a trench a few feet deep an cover it with cardboard or old carpet and some dirt, put broken bricks and sharp/spikey metal down there, if they go near ur loft, they will be hurt, unless they know its there and jump over it. might seem a bit extreme but, im sure if some1 falls down, they will flee b4 they light any fire. hope your birds stay safe mate.
