I would have liked it hight off the ground but it would have been too high over all. I laid slabs then the blocks then posts across the blocks then nailed the scaffolding boards along... I will try and update my progress

you loosing your back gate george not trying to put it down, but a peaked roof would be better suited george, it offers better draught in ventilation and you are able to get a false ceiling in and sunlight should you want it.

yes take your time and work it out 3 good size sections plus a corridor, but also if your intention is for darkness young birds dont be putting too many windows that you cant dub up later

Hoping to have all light coming from panels in the room also preventing the pigeons being disturbed by outside commotion lol

your shed looks far enough away, from the houses to cause any bother from neighbors.

don,t want to put you off doing a good job but you might find birds don,t race aswell to new loft the 1st year.wee tip lock birds in new boxes for a bit less fighting

That's the reason I didn't build it like that walter neighbours can be funny. if I wanted in time I could build a section either side of the shed 7ft long making like a u shape if ye like

George we built a new loft and kept the ybs in the old loft while it was being built. Once the new loft was ready the birds were transferred and the old loft taken down. This was between the last young bird race and the yb national and it didn't make no difference to them. Yb's who have never lived anywhere will not know any different and am sure this will make no odds when it comes to racing. All the best with your new adventure and I wish you every success in racing to your new loft mate.

you giving up the compound geo

Yeah mate after two break ins on my own loft two fires on another loft at the compound and plenty break ins on the other lofts I've gave up trying at the compound. Too much time and money for some fkr to burn it doon. All old birds will be raced out the fed programme down their my youngsters will be raced at the house
