Coincidence or not, stock birds are going through the moult fairly well, yesterday tea time I made myself a sarnie and had some watercress left over so I threw it into the stock birds. This morning a LOT more than usual feathers, will do the same with race birds today and see what the outcome is. :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

Might be a connection :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

I grow cress for the birds when racing and they love it,only takes a few days to grow and I just put the whole tray in when ready and it is all gone within minutes,it contains an abundant source of vitamins and minerals plus iodine, phosphorous, suphur and iron

the moult is a natural occurrence cant understand why there is a need to give them things to make them moult faster ,think it can put the feathers under some stress making them grow faster

fresh water , linseed and good feeding and peace and quiet and let them get on with it :animatedpigeons:
