Correction cant edit the heading, the race is not Otterburn 1, its last race of season

1st G Rankin vel 1595

2nd G Rankin vel 1594

3rd G Rankin vel 1593

4th G Rankin vel 1592

Poor turnout for this comeback race of 78 miles, with 7 members sending 81 birds. Personally i believe it would have been great if there had been another Charnock Richard or Appleton 176 miles.

yes a stafford would just be nice gareth :animatedpigeons:

no one going to a come back race of 80 mile and you want a stafford be even less young birds at it :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Not the case Sammy as fanciers I have spoken with don't see the point in sending a young bird that's had 5-6 races out to 160 miles back to their first race point, this at a distance of 80 miles.

Well done Gareth all the best in the National.

Young bird national has become a love hate scenario, love to compete in any race but hate the outcome, this is generally west wind with the first doo in the west failing to gain an open position, in turn the entry from the west only creates more positions for fanciers to get on the result in the east, time for two Liberations from the young bird national, both winners classified as SEMI national winners.

Forecast this Saturday, yes you've guessed it, west wind

I personally know of 3 or 4 fanciers that would have gone if it was,nt a come back race

Stafford sounds great gets my vote.also the split lib in the YBN then there's a chance

of an open position in the west.
