Guest bigda Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 looks like lanarkshire are in trouble next week they might no have enough basketsthe way i see it the lanarkshire took 17,400 rings this year, they send just under 5,700 birds to the first race this leaves us with 11,700 birds trying to get into trailers that hold about 6,300 birds so we have a over spill now of 5,400 and not counting the ones we sent the first week, and just to add the lanarkshire are good for another 3000 plain rings
bigjamie Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 danny why do you put up these post you like to cause bother and worry to our members why the buck do you keep pigeons for you are never happy
Guest bigda Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 danny why do you put up these post you like to cause bother and worry to our members why the buck do you keep pigeons for you are never happy there is no bother it just stops fanciers from being late at marking, i could be wrong and there are loads of birds missing, but no one admits that so, i have to go with the records i have. mind dont be late they might run out of room

Ian McKay Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Think positive Danny most Feds would like that problem as most are running half empty at best :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:
Henrik Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Best estimate Danny is only about 1/3 of the rings issued are ever raced, if all were raced there aint a Fed in Scotland that would have enough room so time for you to Sit Doon and stop scaremongering

Roland Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Well one thing is certain and proven. Bigda has a fetish, and seemingly, a personal vendetta against the lanarkshire Fed. Never misses a chance to spout a downer whether it has bearing or no.
VMS Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Danny speaks his mind, good fur him regardless ov others perception ov his veiws

sammy Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 we will not count the 10 you lost in the race then you still want that swap wellies for doos if lanarkshire run out of baskets am quite sure you could always help out and transport them in your wee transporter that you train in that holds what is it 4/500 pigeons at three fifty a basket a nice we earner for yi so why yi knocking it when yi could benefit ,right enough there is the wee thing about TAX :001: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Guest bigda Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 so were there 5,400 birds left at home because of no room? ONCE AGAIN IMO, lanarkshire loose loads of birds, no one will admit how many they have lost, but it looks like there are maybe now 5,000 less than the ring issue of 17,400

Guest bigda Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 how many went from Lanarkshire last night ? NOT SURE, WOULD BE ABOUT THE SAME AS LAST WEEK 5,000 ODD birds are just not there anymore we used to take 24,000 rings at one time and fly 10,000 birds
Big Davie Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Over 6000 at the race6300 birds, reckon like myself , weather permitting, when they change route from east to west this week , ( Otterburn to Appelby ) their could be quite a few guys waiting to send for the first time, time will tell.
