geordie1234 Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 My Question is: If money was no object where or who in the world would you go to for long distance pigeons??
clockman Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 My Question is: If money was no object where or who in the world would you go to for long distance pigeons?? Peterheed/fraserburgh
OLDYELLOW Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I'd select a few top pigeons from good fanciers and cross them simple really , better to get individuals from top birds than a loft full of a strain A name doesn't make the birds any better
Wiley Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 If money was no option, I'd buy all the winners be them national or international over the last 3 years at my selected distance, and build a family around them. I would not be afraid to introduce a top sprint pigeon into the family either once it has established.

just ask me Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I'm sure Geoff Cooper does the same most do i agree with wiley would also make a call to the herbots and try to get as close as possible to the national 1 its bloody ridiculous the amount of winners responsible though that line

KMCK Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I would get the ones that's winning in my area as no point in getting birds from any other area as the Wild West of Ayrshire take a particular type of bird to fly I. To it, but I have been told the best bird that most fanciers have in there loft is a gifted bird
