This is where they need our support. I have attached a copy of 3 different variations of letters of support.

 

If you can please choose one or indeed make up one of your own.

 

 

 

Please ensure you put your full name and address on the letter and send to the Scottish Borders Council, the address is on the letter.

 

 

 

We need to drum up as much support as possible and this MUST be sent into Scottish Borders Council within the next 14 days.

What are these letters about.

 

If it is about not getting permission for loft at Lamberton, the owner knew when he was still selling the venture at Blackpool that there was many objections already lodged with the council, and he was in trouble.

 

Dont see anything about these letters on the SOLR website, very strange.

 

Again could say the updates on the website are very poor, entries fall short of the 1000 birds that the prize money estimation , but has never been updated.

 

Conflict on race programme dates has never been updated either, SNFC yb Nat Leicester and UNC yb Nat Maidstone are on the same day.

Oh right Charlie, im not up to speed m8, cheers. Wish there was a spokesperson for the SOLR on here to keep folk in the picture. Its all guess work and that isn't very good for publicity.

Sorry Dell, Was away all day , What going on, is the appeal is back on the agenda, So the solr team, are looking for all doo men to send in one of the letters to the planning team, the race this year will go ahead, but trying to get it all in place for ever.

the uncertainty and the lack of info has stopped a lot sending Bill .

 

Theres no question that the birds will be well looked after now but a permanet structure would look better .

A picture paints a 1000 words , nice pic of a nice loft would help.

nothing against the o.l.r but they should not be allowed to compete in y.b.nat as what will happen is the y.b.nat will become a o.lrace it will kill of the y.b.nat because the guys especially in region B have no chance of competeing against a loft with all these pigeons in that location

I.m.o as I have said if they are allowed to compete it will kill of the y.b.nat would you compete against a loft in a favourably location with possibly 500 birds going to that loft it will kill region B

The young bird national for section E, F and A is already killed of, so be positive Peter with a view that if the pigeons are no good in the solr, then the pigeons sent will be creating more prizes for the rest of section B fanciers, you never know, it might be a east wind.

get real gareth look what the man done last year whats he going to do if 500 birds are coming to one loft in that location there be no prizes left get convoyed yes but be allowed to compete total unfair advantage why do you think he has located it at ayton what was wrong with it in the west you know the answer to that

I have no problem with the SOL being in my section, I'll just need to try hard to beat them! 99% unlikely but that 1% will give me the motivation

Tyson what would happen if a doo man in the area started flying 500 ybs out of it?? Same difference just need to up the anti just like I need to up the anti considering I was a mile and a sheite away fae the result at Newbury lol

that would not bother me if it was in the lothians but I get approx 10ml overfly from eyemouth but take the pigeons for a toss down there and it will take them about an hour you see where Im coming from you have very little chance in beating them where has all the winners been in say the last 10yrs??
