DJL Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 We have been unable to liberate at Ripon due to conditions at the race point and en-route. There is a race meeting at Ripon today and we have to be off the site by 10.00 a.m. The decision has been made by Angus and Dundee Federations to move to Consett. Hopefully conditions will be suitable for a liberation around 12.00.

eric owenson Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 our loft is right next to the lib site your birds did not clear the site for at least 20-30 mins, these birds were liberated when we had only timed our4th pigeon in the clock at this time no consideration for the fanciers in the area waiting for the pentland fed birds bad race controlling if you ask me,need to think of your fellow fanciers lads, so if your birds are way behind ,don't blame the birds as if you waited1hr later they may have cleared better.ps not alone just ask the fanciers in gorebridge about the birds flying all over the place, pretty poor when fanciers are waiting for their own birds coming back from their respective races

maverick Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Angus Fed. liberated at ARNISTON at 4.00 pm in No Wind I was at a mates loft yesterday and seen these birds around 4.30 going in all directions looked like these birds were looking for a gap in the mist to cross the forth To be honest lads if your birds were to be crossing the forth yesterday you would have been better of taking the birds home on the motor
frank-123 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 drove over the forth bridge yesterday at 15.00 and you could not see the top for mist. Fife was poor all day
