George Turner of Turner Bros died on 25/04/13 aged 83 after suffering with cancer. George was my grandad who I worshipped and being of a certain generation was not not into computers and so was not a member of any forums etc. During his hey day he was a leading figure in pigeon racing and breeding in the midlands. I thought I should post and let anyone who may have known him about our sad news. If you have parents or grandparents who may have known him please let them know. The funeral will take place on Fri 10th May @ Essington church @ 11am. All welcome. Ty Kelly... R.I.P grandad x

Hi Kelly

Sorry about your sad news. Indeed your grandfather was an excellent pigeon fancier. Essington Express, Dark 61 and Dark 62 amongst others were unbelievable pigeons. Regards to your family
