Tonight I decided to give our clubs ETS system one final check before the first race of the season on Saturday (just as well I did) the base station is requesting an activation code, I already obtained this earlier this year and entered it, since then I have done all the club clocks. So fortunately I kept a record of the activation code supplied, but unfortunately it is not working this time, am I to assume this activation code only works once, and if so do I need to contact Unikon for a new codehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif what is the best contact number and time to contact Unikon?

Yes, had this problem with the club and SNFC base stations on the same weekend last year.

You are right the activation code only works once.

Just off the phone to Jeff Blackhall, he informed me that I do need to request a new activation code, but he also reassured me that I will not have lost any data, as this code only affects the ring sensor ,http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif

why are they needing to be activated twice??????? I,ve done Lochgelly's once this year and done all the updating of rings ect. Does this mean i may have to activate it again?? looks like i,ll have to go and check it out :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

I only know it happened to me tonight Alex, worth checking m8, but I am sure you will be fine m8. you should only have to activate once, but obviously something went wrong with our clubs equipment, Jeff said this can happen, and the ring sensor requests an activation code, and you can only use the code once, if it fails you need to request a new codehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif I,m glad I decided to check the equipment, or all our club members would have been unable to use ETS on Friday, as I would not have been able to contact Unikon at that time of nighthttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif

every time i turn on the club base unit it asks for the code i just press ok and it goes fine

It does this when it has lost the code as well but when you press ok it just goes back to clock setting and wont go past that.

is this happening to clubs who have put there raceing back by any chance was thinking maybe its because code not used on the correct date could be the problem

No Walter the SNFC and Aberdeen have never put back racing this has been going on for a long time

My club sent away 7 base stations last week and we were quoted £58.50 each but that was some deal they were doing not sure if it was because we sent 7 though ?
