But no matter how much I stand I aint actually seen any attacks or seen the bop in a few months! My birds were away ranging on both occassions and came home dribs n drabs with 1 cock missing each time

Guest IB Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 I was the other side of the Pentlands at Ratho approx 15 miles on Saturday 13th with 11 latebreds, 7 of them their first time + 1 other raced out as YB. Put the 12 up together at 1040 and 1140 before I got my 1st group of 4, then 3 as singles up till 1400, and not a feather since. 5 still missing. All carry telephone rings. I suppose I'll never learn. Weather crap for a long while then first decent break, happy to get birds away. BoP happy too, cos it's the first decent break in weather for them too, and they take to the skies and make the most of that break in the weather too ... never gave that a thought before going on Saturday.
b.massey Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Just had SHU on phone about a cock I lost the other week. Non fancier reported it in Fife. So least he was not a meal and managed to stay alive. He was in there green house and has came back 2 nights running so hopefully he is there later and I can go get him
