Im making plans to build a new loft & I'm looking for pictures or designs on how to make a stall trap & how the locking mechanism works. Other people have probs asked this before, but as I said I'm new to this site so if you can even post me some links to older posts or any tips or advice that would be great cheersAl

alex wight Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 If you are going to be using rubbers, with the view to changing to ets at a later date. I would recommend using a sputnik, as you can trap the bird when it jumps down, then you simply put an ets pad inside the sputnik when that time comes. If you need any advise please feel free to pm. regards alex Thank you very much Fifer for your recommendation.

Sorry for all the questions but we all have to start somewhere you put bob wires along the back m8 and on race day you lock them so the bird cant get in the loft you open the front and catch the bird from the outside or the inside what ever suits you

Might work, just have to figure out how to lock the bobs. The perspex is good aswell, but would the bird be a bit slow to trap cause its closed.
