JohnQuinn Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 The trophy pictured is the Border Trophy, won by the club record breaking lofts of John Dougal. Cambusnethan and Morningside H.S.This Trophy is presented to the fancier with the first Yearling timed in on the first Saturday in June, in 2012 it was the 2nd. John Dougal had 7 (SEVEN) firsts in the club in 2012, a club record. In 2011 he won 5 races on the trot, another club record. C&M can be duplicated into by members of other clubs, this usually results in the club having the largest Birdages in the Fed. 900+ is NOT unusual early in the program. So winning like this takes some doing.
