Or any advice Welcome.

Examples at:- http://www.maplin.co.../printer-cables will tell you as i was told-----a paralel port printer has a brain and this converts signals sent from ets and prints it out------------a usb printer does not have a brain and uses a brain in your computer -that is why you need a parralel port printer there are loads out there.hope this helps

Or any advice Welcome. We use a brother HL5240N for our unikon profis and it works brilliant. Remember that not all printers are compatible even though they have parralel ports.
