Have loads of second hand Brother HL 5240 printers,think they are about £20 each and think postage is around a £5.and have at least 60% ink in them.

I know a few clubs that have used these second hand printers,hope this helps.give them a call.

the epsom c86 has the cheapest ink you should get one in a charity shop down your way or source a place where they recondition them

You can get cables which are USB on one end and SCART on the other, Maplin is a good place to get them. Examples at:-

will tell you as i was told-----a paralel port printer has a brain and this converts signals sent from ets and prints it out------------a usb printer does not have a brain and uses a brain in your computer -that is why you need a parralel port printer there are loads out there.

Wullie you can get a 15 pin convention to USB on eBay about a tenner but don't get anything till I check my loft I might have a printer for you if I have I'll through it over back fence.

We use a brother HL5240N for our unikon profis and it works brilliant. Remember that not all printers are compatible even though they have parralel ports.
