i wouldnt think all are experts ,but i would say they are fanciers who are trying there best to help fellow fanciers who have a problem. thats my honest view on it anyway .

Dont get me wrong i agree with you to a point. But many fancier ask advice on other subjects yet get very little response, Yet if you put a post on stating a pigeon got a lump on its head and walks with a limp everyones got an opinion, its not a criticism something i found interesting:

im certainly no expert on the subject, but read with great interest on this site the many treatments lotions & potions the members have tried n tested with varying success, but the one thing im pretty sure about is that " prevention is better than cure any day "

Think I may have seen that report and it was a joke.

people ask things and sometimes it can be diagnosed through experience in our own birds.for me i have a few books on this subject and although the questions can be very vaig we all try to help.to be honest theres not many diseases our birds get but there are symptoms that can be recodnised pretty easily.if you ask we will give an answer.if you really want to know whats wrong with your bird put your money in your pocket and go see a vet.i dont see anything wrong with people asking i did this for years some fanciers were right some were wrong.

You do get some people who do actually help and do the best to help. But as always you get that one person who likes to think they know it all, But you get that anywhere, Wether it be here, at the club or even at the training transporter, Atb Andy
