ALF Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 Spoke to Stuart Wilcox at lunchtime today 271 birds i think he said he auctioned and they averaged £460 each now that is good money....
kirky Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 i think birds on the stalls were better value priced to sell or even offers, auction prices have gone mad,
JohnQuinn Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 Seen the sale of Champions or whatever it was called on a telly down there and the top price was £30,000. I came up the road with 3 Ck's that caught my eye but they wirnae 30k lol
swilcox Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Raymonds averaged £280 a bird with the highest being £650. To me it was a cracking little sale with everyone having a chance. Highest price in the savoy was £3300 for the son of Wing Down, £2900 for dtr of Drum, £2800 for dtr of Athena Rik Hermans. Crazy money really however i will add that each bid was 100%, no hidden reserves or buy backs in my auction!!
