showman Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Hi folks. For those of us of a certain 'vintage', we can probably bring to mind the old terracotta clay nest bowls which most would remember fondly. From my memory they were not as wide at the top as modern bowls but were deeper and steeper sided. If available, would they sell these days ?Would be nice to hear your thoughts. Many thanks. Paul.

Novice Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I have some but my opinion tended to be that the porous nature of the clay meant that even after a good scrub it could still be harbouring nasties.
andyyy Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 The ones i have are off an old flyer who recently jacked pigeons in, He had pigeons for about 70 years and was probs his original pots!
