Funny thing is the drinkers in the lofts were frozen but the rabbits drinking bottle wasnt and thats outside, puzzling

the rabbits water bottles probably leaking slightly causing the water to keep moving n not freeze pigeons can drink out these water bottles aswell

I think cider vinegar in the water helps with the water freezing

Or iv heard olive oil.... Havnt tryed that one so wouldn't know

My drinkers are of the floor and aren't frozen, Maybe it helps or maybe its colder where you are xD

had some raised on up-turned plastic milk crates . didnt make any difference at minus 8 last night .ALL froze. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

I trid a wee thing last night (but the wife didny like it lol) in the racing loft i have 2 sections in one i put 3 nest felts under the drinker the other nothing ! the water only lightly froze on the nest felts but was solid in the other !! but i think it depends where the drinker is sat ie next to vents and so on .Sorry just read simlar topic at bottom of page , thought i had a great idea to .
