Not often I agree with big da but we have to think when buying our own transport

We have to tax it mot tyres any repairs and servicing with a hired unit it's all done

For us and it won't sit idle for 6 months of the year o.m.o

canny remember what race it was but sure i herd that the driver couldn't bring the doos back cause his tacko had to many miles on it ????

which didny help the pigeons

if we had our own transport this should be eliminated.

my point of view is as long as the fed can afford it and it benefits the pigeons/members then get it done. the size of lanarkshire wee should be leading the way not playing catch up

I agree Davie but if we hire units to carry our alloy body it's our s for the racing season

To do with as we see fit and the trucks dont have to be back on the Sunday night

The trucks have to be modified by Geraldy to take the Body,so we could not hire trucks to facilitate our needs.

Hi Alan

Do you mean the Operating licence or somebody with a C1+E to drive them

Should be aware that to operate WITHOUT tachograph the licence has to be

in Lanarkshire Feds name ie MOVING LIVESTOCK NOT FOR PROFIT OR REWARD

Its called a Restricted Operators Licence

Only 2 monthly checks and no tachograph

Cheers
