SAD TO HEAR THIS COWARDLY ACT, POOR BIRDS , I HAVE A LOFT LYING EMPTY WHICH I HAVENT GOT ROUND TO MOVING BIRDS INTO YET, I WOULD BE ONLY TO GLAD TO KEEP AND CARE FOR ANY BIRDS TILL THE BOYS GET SORTED, I COULD ALSO COME AND PICK THEM UP IM IN BISHOPBRIGGS ATB GUYS.

As usual the pigeon fraternity will rally round and put these guys back on the pigeon map. Our real energies need to be centred on finding and dealing with these headcases that carried out this horrendous act. I can only imagine how they feel and hope that they take up some of the offers on the site. SO SAD

when u manage to get the new lofts up and running give me a shout . I would b able to donate a couple of sets of boxes to each loft. Unfortunately i cant kit the whole lot out but it would b a start for them if somebody could pick them up

Hi,

Don't know i this will help the 2 boys who have lost their lofts and most of their birds in this attack of arson.

I have approx 20 spare hens mostly youngsters from this year,which i intended racing celibate next year,in view of this tragic event the 2 lads are welcome to them if they think they can be of use to them.

I am in Tillicoultry. all the best to the 2 boys concerned

derek these lofts have been in that compound for about 20 yrs mate and nothing like that has happened but nowadays thats all folk want to do is get full of drink and drugs and vandalize things them poor we birds never bothered no one and they got burned to death bye no good scum i hope whoever did it gets sorted out

Just seeing this thread for the first time, i know wee Charlie well as he collects the club strays from me during the Yb season and the other loft looks very like John Paton's??? only met John this season when verifying his 1st Section Ypres hen, which i assume has lost its life with the others and he was a pleasure to meet and talk to.

Totally disgusted that this type of thing happens, i really don't know how i would react but prison time would be high on my agenda if i discovered who done it.

 

George, i have perches, hen boxes and stock birds that both John and Charlie are welcome to, i will deliver them personally and help in any way i can to get them up and running again, if they still have the will to carry on that is.
