i believe that from the midfield to the strikers Scotland have never been better placed to qualify for a major tournament, not saying there great, but better than it has been for the last 12 years.

Simple ! Levein didn't get the best out of his team, in turn he had to go.

True what Clockman says we are just not good enough and we are kidding ourselves on if we think otherwise.You just have to look at the world rankings and see where we are and some of the countries that are above us.The only way we will ever reach the finals of a major tournament is if we host it and dont have to qualify. Sad but true.

Can't be a surprise the sacking what manager would play a game with zero strikers then when at home only one up front against what is meant to be average teams ,its us thats less than average only had to watch the belguim game men versus boys its going to take some manager to swing that lot around,The standard of our football is shocking got to be the wrong coaches in place starting at youth level,when paul le gaun was at ibrox he said there was a drink culture Ferguson got him sacked and look what became of him ,Celtic sitting top with a game in hand having already dropped a possible 12 points if they had done that in la liga they would now be trailing barca by 10 points,But nothing new with the national performances since we last qualified we have been always trying for a play of spot now we arent even good enough for that,Very sad to say for someone who has followed them for years but we are crap.

We have been totally crap and that means Levein take's the bullet for it comes with the Job and a 700k pay of he will get, playing with no striker was absolutely criminal. I think Gordon Strachan Watty smith maybe good candidates

Played a lot of games with no striker unless you call headless chicken miller a striker. The main problem is too many players are not good enough. Just because they play in the premiership doesnt mean they are international class.
