race now only a week away .looking at the long range forcast it,s for a very fast race with a 14 to 28mph SSW wind behind them. it could turn out to be a trapping race.with the fanciers with ETS having the birds clocked in a few seconds quicker than fanciers with manual clocks.

those who have put in the work have fitter birds

so headwind or tailwind the fitter birds will/should have the upper hand

best keep an eye out andy as your white ghosts will be hard to see in a snowstorm

You don't need luck Andy - just ask Seona to have a word in their ear - I'm sure it works with you.

It will be a cold one but best of luck to you and all others brave enough to have a go.

:emoticon-0136-giggle::emoticon-0136-giggle: thanks Tom.

south in the wind does not suit my birds .also if birds not done a lot of work the the south in the wind would help them out. looking at the weather for race now it will be a tough race .with a WSWwind at the home end 25 to 40 mph with 99% cloud cover rain and some mist.
