Last weeks fanciers enjoying the competition.

 

This week reminder is Old hen handle , young cock through wire , Wednesday 27th pen between 6 30pm -7.30pm.

 

Members welcome your attendance showing or coming down for a look.

A show/ dipped doo won the cocks del ,in fact dipped doos won 3 tickets in the young cocks . No one was too happy . Bar the show man

Crackin hens Charlie which were a pleasure to judge. Would be very surprised if a few of these didn't go on to score from across the water.

A show/ dipped doo won the cocks del ,in fact dipped doos won 3 tickets in the young cocks . No one was too happy . Bar the show man

Aye it's advertised as a racing pigeon show and the judge picks a show doo as the winner ye couldnae make it up...Big Gareth was looking for 600 milers in his class the other judge picked 1 that couldnae fly 6 miles ....lol

Aye it's advertised as a racing pigeon show and the judge picks a show doo as the winner ye couldnae make it up...Big Gareth was looking for 600 milers in his class the other judge picked 1 that couldnae fly 6 miles ....lol

alan wullie mathison done the same thing dipping doos 25 years ago and won many racing classes even flown classes

Stuart did anyone say anything to the guy who had the dipped doos in the show. It is hard enough to find judges maybe a little help get the dipped doos out the class before the judge starts.

Well done to all the winners this week and all who attended.Thanks to Muir brothers and the other Clarkston members who take the time to run a good night for all to attend and debate later.

It comes down the individual judge's choice, for me my choice is based in the good pigeons that I have been fortunate to win with over the last 30 years. The pigeons you mention are no doubt good doos, but not my cup of tea, or perhaps they were in very poor condition.

 

Out of curiosity Ecky, whose pigeon was the silver award.

 

Gareth is a sprint man nowadays so am told with a reliable source.
