blaz Posted October 5, 2012 Report Posted October 5, 2012 John Paton in my club 8th open ypres with 5 nest flights SNFC 2012 just shows ye what they can do thats outstanding for a late breed think it might do better next year
alec guinness Posted October 5, 2012 Report Posted October 5, 2012 have 18 latebreds this year and have just started training them from 5 miles, will train them right through the winter on any dry days up to 25 miles, fed training in april and raced down to 280 miles next year.we have done this for a number of years and have had some very good success with these latebreds in later years racing with the SNFC scoring from newbury, eastbourne x3 bovingdon, marlbourgh, cheltenham x2 and alencon, one wee l/b hen scored 4 times at the national.imo worth a wee gang!!!!! ;)
