fletch Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 a friend of mine bought a bird from a sale at blackpool from a sale on the friday night, belgium fancier i believethe pigeon was a blue 5 year old cock, that was breed down from this and that, had breed winners every year, was a photo of the pigeon in fancy press sale list, when he got the pigeon home was paired to a hen, but would not pair, eventually giveing up my mate decided to throw bird in spare section with some old retired racers who dont breed no more, low and behold the pigeon catched pair to 1 of the old cocks and has gone down but to late,it was a hen and when i seen it i believe it may be a young hen too, my mate has got intouch with the sellers agent and she said he was out of the country in china, and he would get intouch as soon as he would get back he did not get intouch ,so my mate has sent a letter saying if no correspondence by a certain time he will put it all in the fancy press
just ask me Posted August 4, 2012 Author Report Posted August 4, 2012 cocks turning into hens has been known to happen a prolific breeder was sold on a a worldwide website sold as a cock laid eggs too lol this was by a seller or stud in the uk
just ask me Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Posted October 12, 2012 this fella appealed his case was up again today did not hear a thing yet
just ask me Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 news of the appeal has come though its translated from chrome so a little mixed up but you can get a general idea False declarations FRAUDULENT PRACTICES AND NONPROFIT: IT IS NOT NOTHING! The KBDB judges (President Mario Deketelaere, secretary-reporter Maggy De Clerck and judges Paul Vermeire and Trudo Nails-Coune) in the case of Eric Limbourg (photo) very heavily extracted in their judgment in the case which has been applied by vet Ferdi Vandersanden. Their findings are apparently not very tender to the address of Limbourg. In their assessment, the Court of First Instance even on FRAUDULENT practices with a view to NONPROFIT ... And that's not nothing. To you, the reader, however, a more complete picture of how the KBDB have judged, we give you below the full ASSESSMENT of the facts. quote The Court noted that the complaint of Mr Vandersanden and file documents. Both parties were heard, first, Mr Vandersanden regarding the explanation of his complaint, Mr. Limbourg other hand, with regard to his defense with regard to the aforementioned complaint, assisted by his counsel Mr. The Leu, who hearing a written claim and supporting documents thereto. Contrary to (the defense) Mr. Limbourg holds, Mr Vandersanden a sufficient interest expense on his complaint Mr. Limbourg formulation. There are no elements to the complaint by Mr Vandersanden declared inadmissible. On the merits, the Court considers that the defendant, Mr. Limbourg, erniet succeed all by Mr Vandersanden irregularities cited to refute the contrary. The contention of Mr. Limbourg as erroneous pedigrees, all the result of an administrative error (inversion) in his pointer system is completely implausible. That a single error under such "inversion" is not noticed until it far, however several erroneous pedigrees as a result of such (same) administrative errors are made, and these errors on the part of a professional vendor did not note, is reasonably explanation as untenable, nor acceptable. As the complainant, Mr Vandersanden, more rightly, provides the explanation of Mr. Limbourg in relation to an administrative error in his pointer system also no conclusive explanation for all fixed alleged irregularities. See the example above (p. 5-14) cited sales Rene and Patrick Draye in 2009. (Buy 1: 2059785/2003 - clean geschelpt Eric - mother first national La Souterraine). The Chamber is therefore the only possible conclusion that here no question of a "lamentable administrative error", but which are of deceptive practices with the view to profit, which Mr. Limbourg there - wrongly - assumed that committed by him irregularities and knowingly providing false information would not be noticed. The extensive research work of Mr Vandersanden shows precisely that it is very difficult for such fraud prima facie to notice. The Court considers that the infringement of Article 108 of the National Sporting Regulations on this case is fixed and that the constitutive elements of the offense defined in article 126 of the Code are fulfilled Pigeon fanciers. The rights of the defense (as defined in the ECHR) were in no way violated. The accused and proven facts should therefore appropriately be sanctioned in the interests of the sport and the pigeon. unquote First Instance in the judgment rather late even know they have the error committed by the pointersysteen Eric Limbourg find a joke. And they conclude: With incorrect or falsified pedigrees, Eric Limbourg voluntarily or involuntarily, a violation against Article 108 NSR, in particular because of false declaration concerning the origin of at least six birds later in the distribution chain end and where their buyers less received than they had expected. First instance - so read this sentence - shows Eric Limbourg of no sides to believe. Terms such as fraud and false statements are not really meant love. Moreover say that Eric Limbourg also uses FALSE / FALSE pedigrees in auctions of pigeons from his loft ... People are obviously scared. Effective suspension of one year plus the payment of procedural costs 525 Euro: the Chamber of First Instance has spoken. In Halle, on 12 October 2012. Question now is how people, customers, friends, buyers and relationships of Eric Limbourg with this statement go HARD deal? A champion who by his own federation in the shirt is put: it is rarely seen
St Finnan Loft Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 cocks turning into hens has been known to happen a prolific breeder was sold on a a worldwide website sold as a cock laid eggs too lol this was by a seller or stud in the uk A change in the bird's chromosome makeup would have to happen if this was the case - how is this possible? In birds it is possible for plumage to change as in chickens, i.e. suppressed male (looks female) but the bird is still a male bird.
PigeonDetective Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Whenever there is money to be made, always attracts dodgy characters.. Its a shame, atleast they got collared
Fly_caster Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 The story here is that the Vet, Freddi Vandersanden bought a bird from Limbourg. The bird escaped from the Vet, going out over his head as he fed it one morning. He contacted Limbourg and advised him to keep an eye out for his escaped stock bird. No word came of the returning bird. Some years later, it was seen that Limbourg was selling pigeons on PIPA, and low and behold, the Vet's lost pigeon was contained in the pedigrees of the birds for sale, dated at times that were after he lost the bird. Reading between the lines, the escaped stock bird did indeed find home at the Limbourg residence, and was duly treated to all the hospitality that Eric could muster, politely forgetting that the bird was no longer his and omitting to notify or return the bird to the rightful owner (the vet). His defence was based on a "computer error" which was not accepted. They suspended him from the KDBD for 1 year, estimating that the act of being found guilty in teh first place would be punishment enough for him. Steve

Fly_caster Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 i think there was more birds involved then the den dubble though Hiya, Sure, but I think they only prosecuted or examined the one example as it was the only one they had proof of to hand. I may be mistaken but that was my understanding. Cheers, Steve
