JohnQuinn Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Aye, i think the program needs looked at. IMO! we could change to having the First and Last races as the Inland Nationals instead of 2 before the Gold Cup race. Think that would help a LITTLE!! JMO though.

JMO though.when it used to be sartilly rennes nates and sartilly i think that was the best , the inland races were covered by comines etc which you sent your yearling or inexsperieced 2 yr old to and was a good education of the distance plus the birds were comming back into the same areas , i think a good lot of gold cup candidates bit the dust at the first inland nat again , yes have the inlands after a few channel races ,think that would be better , personally i would only have one or none at all

andy Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 ""Agree,Maidstone only, let the Feds organise the first race. Need to go to the AGM
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Agree,Maidstone only, let the Feds organise the first race. Need to go to the AGMBy the time the AGM comes around in January, the poor races from the Inland nationals will all have been forgotten about, even though it has had a disastrous effect on the gold cup, year after year. Regards Maidstone, don't no why but the returns from Maidstone in this part of the country is probably just as bad if not worse than it was at Cheltenham.
Henrik Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 323 FROM Musselburgh which is 77 up on last year I think

Bite the bullet sign the letter from big alex everyone can make mistake's there is still time to make amends's.Well if it did Frank then it has followed the instincts that a good racing pigeon should have, that is to fly from A-B wind determined of course. Unlike Delboy who wants his train/race his pigeons up the east to teach them to dogleg back into the west because the east has marginally less hawks than the west. JMO

Henrik Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Spoke to Jim Wilson of St Abbs and he,s telling me that when he,s out in his Creel boat he can see 3 pairs of Peregrines ans 17 young ones in a three mile strech of Cliffs so would imagine that there isnt that much difference between East and West

lanarkshire lad Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 And hey i WILL be signing the form for a change to the East for the ybs and i dont give a RATS FART what anybody thinks.
