Archie that cant be right they resighned after the fiasco so were in office and position while it happend they should have been asked to put there side of the story over as every one envolved at the time should have been part of it , thats a bit like having a murder trial but the victims are not allowed to testify . There was obviously somthing seriously wrong when they all resighned after the event and by there responce ,

at a murder trial the victims cant testify there dead ya numty LOL

the victims are classed as the family freinds witneses etc no just the deacesed . they are the witnesses in what went on , nae point in a case with only the defence and nae prosecution is there :emoticon-0123-party::emoticon-0123-party:

Spoke to President tonight about birds being moved to Cheltenham. He said it was a committee decision???????????? Mind you, he never said it looking me straight in the eye. I told him I was disgusted with the decision as I said in my objection which was read out at the meeting.

Some of us who run the marking stations actually have to book and use up our holidays to run these, maybe next year some of the ones who dont work could replace us on the committee and then I could just come along and send my birds, stand about blethering for an hour or so and turn deaf when help is required, would also mean that I could maybe have a real holiday instead of a couple o days every time there is a National race. In my opinion the one that do the grumping are the ones that do F e ck all, so here,s your chance get along to the AGM get on the committee n see how much work is involved in all of this.

Listen here i have worked my socks of since 1972 never once not been of committee running club or taking part in club and fed matters so if you think for one moment that i do f-- all you are on a different planet ,I have no birds away to maidstone but am only speaking up for fellow club members who cannot understand why if they wish to fly in the national as they do that there birds are prob looking at another long haul in the baskets when they are still in the uk ,how do much larger organisations than ours get round this as they do ???

The post was not meant to be read as concerning you personally, it was meant for the 95% who come along and expect their A r ses wiped for them as well and do nuthing but grump and if a ring is wrong in their ETS thats my f e cking fault as well. As I said if you all think it can be run better come along and run it, see how much fun it really is, Me I,m niteshift the night before the Niort marking, the night of the Niort marking, the night of the Ypres marking so that will be Three days with no much sleep all because I cant get holidays that week, also the halls have to be booked, the one we use has Line Dancing and Zumba classes which the people concerned has kindly put off to accommodate us.What do we get for our trouble, Grump Mumps n Moans.

Delayed basketting sometimes work, but sometimes with the ever changing British weather, you can be left behind and may well have missed a reasonably good racing day. This has happened with Lanarkshire over the last few years, feds have cancelled but we have still went down the road and had perfectly good racing.

The Irish National Flying Club only have one marking station at Lisburn, where as the SNFC spoil there members by having up to 9 marking stations from some races. Not saying that the SNFC should not look into the possibility of delaying basketting but this should only be used when its a blanket band of weather across the uk were there is no chance of a liberation.

Perfect days are few and far between on the British isles, and when one does come along there is still no guarantee of a successful race (Messac 2011 spings to mind), all we can hope for is the doos get a fair crack of the whip.

Mike i believe that doos will get a liberation on Saturday morning 05.30 - 06.00 and with the strong west, south west winds and showers it will be a tough fly into the Solway and west of Scotland. Forecast is not the worst i have seen.

Nobody can take it away from the men like yourself Bobby that are there no matter what ,But the birds come before you or i and everybody else , as for the halls booked and cost How much are we paying for the convoyers /feed/site fee`s we have to move with the times and try and give our birds the best possible chance in our very hostile climate. 5 members from my club work on all nat race nights, I`m not one of them .Keep up the good work and good luck in the race .
