Tony C Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 If they're going to have to start again from the lower divisions I'd like to see them stick their fingers up to the SFA and apply to join the English leagues and work they're way up from there. It'll pay dividends in the long run.
Guest KING BILLY Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rangers-fc-headed-liquidation-114129718.htmlis jittery jim got anything to do with this lol

Guest geordiejen Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 its a huge debt to pay for 9 in a row but im also glad rangers have had to pay up for what i see was an unfair advantage caused and run by david murray buying english players who brought with them hugh wages and transfere fees.rangers werent worrying when the fans were all delighted to see the players winning trophies for almost ten years in a trot, infact yous were all having a laugh at fergus mccanns biscuit tin antics and it now seems fergus was creating a more concrete financial future for celtic football club.however i do feel its a huge blow to scottish football as a whole but rangers owners have indeed sold the jersey.it's all down to david murrays head getting bigger and bigger.who remembers david murray saying for every £5 celtic spend we will spend£10 well david murray has spent a whole lot more than money at rangers he has brought rangers to there knees and he has gone and left others to pic up the pieces.

budgie Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Its only the begining and the Boys In Blue will be back.
wee eck Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 The debt is not from that period of 9 in a row. :emoticon-0138-thinking:does not really matter when the unpayable debt was accrued, it is more to do with the fact that Rangers at the time broke the rules and it is bound to happen that they will be stripped of any trophies won during the time . In any sport there has to be a price to pay for breaking the rules :crying:

frank-123 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 We broke the rules and hold our hands up and take the punishment. Pity your club didn't hold it's hand up for serious misdemeanour's then again your taught on a Sunday it's ok.
Guest geordiejen Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 never seen ian huntley or robert black at mass mate.
Roland Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 About a quater of what a good striker will cost eh! Think the HM Goverment are right, and for the reasons that they have stated. Think it will now mean a consortium will be gelled and a way forward found. I hope so... Don't want the jocks coming down to support man U lol

Guest geordiejen Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 the next question is will this new team and club be allocated a place in the scottish premiere league.it seems 8 of the 12 clubs need to give the thumbs up for that.
geordie1234 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 I hope they don't they need to be punished like the other teams around the globe have been no matter who or how big they are.
blue pied Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 New Rangers, old Rangers, whatever.. I'll always support the boys in Blue... WATP ♥
JADE Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 Problem is by booting rangers out the spl they are punishing themselves cos the tv deal will be torn up and some of them wont survive that. 97% of aberdeen fans want rangers kicked out. the other 6 supporters couldnt be contacted
Roland Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 I hope they don't they need to be punished like the other teams around the globe have been no matter who or how big they are. Agree... but the bill will have to be met and paid. Green and Co have boughtnthe club at a real knock down price, and when buying they also buy any debts and monies owing. But they aren't stupid, they know just what costs have to be met and paid. Like my ma always said, any goverment body need paying will get their dues, even if it costs more than the bill.
