I`ll maybe try and catch it and then re-locate it as recommended by the RSPB, but where Annan? Gretna? Ecclefechan? Just kidding!!!

Sparrowhawk hen killed a yearling cock this evening right in front of the loft. I just nipped into the loft for two minutes and this was when she struck, almost like she had been watching.

Lost 3 to female Gos this week, wife saw the 3rd. one taken in the air yesterday, they are big, birds don't get a second chance unlike with female spar.

Same Gos hit a yearling cock down in front of me today, rescued it but quite a lot of damage to one wing, They are a bl**dy nightmare

Had second section of widowhood cocks out tonight 11 of them ,cant watch them all the time as there are breeders etc to see to,Kept watch when i could and there were 11 until 10 minutes before i called them in ,blue yearling missing,If it has been the peregrine the others are well settled ,as i have learned over the years must not worry about the missing one's as only the one's left can win , still p== you of but sadly thats life nowadays.

I have a SH attacking the birds in the air which has never happen before. Up to know I have had 4 attacks during the last 5 days. I will take my birds training evey day to avoid all this if I have to do. If last year is anything to go by, the peregrine will pick the youngsters off when they start to fly. A friend has had terrible trouble with the peregrine taking his babies.

Tried breaking two cocks today at the new lofts which are only about a mile and a half tops away. One cock came home to the old loft the other missing. Percy and sparra hawk were at our compound today so presumed dead :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Sparrow Hawk got one of the YBs yesterday but managed to get to it before it started to tare lumps out
