billt Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 I certainly don't think the government should bail out Rangers but I can see their concerns, it would be a funny league without them, deducted 10 points still in 2nd. place and 9 points ahead of 3rd. place, Celtic would be playing in a league of their own without them, can't be good for football . I think the FA and FIFA are becoming like the RSPB, a law unto themselves
geordie1234 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 The SNP are just trying to get publicity from Rangers mis fortune they have never been interestwd but now rangers are on every tv channel they want a peice of it for there P*** independance bid

just ask me Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 the problem will come when the rich guy gets sick of there new toy and there players there on mad wages not a hope the club will be able to pay them for me rangers are not in a impossible position while they spend above there means they can still survive may take them 5 year or so before there back up too full strength what would happen if the owner of man city or chelsea was to say sorry no more money i think it would leave these clubs in a lot worse place then rangers

So Sorry No More Money widnae wash JAM
geordie1234 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Completely agree with JAM what happens when the billionaire's get bored? As for the Man City owners I read an article that when the price of oil goes up one dollar they become 500million richer over night lol

Pompey Mick Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 We had a 'rich'owner in Gaydamak at Portsmouth, he bought the Club played with it for a couple of years, had great fun winning the Cup Final along the way, then after he broke his toy he decided he wanted a total refund, sucked every penny out of the Club and left a £134 million debt, and the joke is we still owe him money, even after him managing to 'acquire' the few land assets we had when he 'sold' the club on.The latest vulture ,Mr Chanrai, who foolishly made a massive financial error in lending money to 'Portsmouth' (Gaydamak) demands all of his loan back, he also, by a bit of judicial selling-on has changed from a 20p in the £ creditor to a secured creditor. Nice money if you can get it.
Ian McKay Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I expect both to win :emoticon-0137-clapping:
JohnQuinn Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Got to fancy both Manchester teams to win. Both claim to be taking it seriously, if so should still be in the competition in the latter stages.
