Guest lenwadebob Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 SHAMEFUL but fortunately we shouldn't tar all with the same brush. It is always a very small minority of brain dead scum that have no respect for anyone or anything. If they act like animals they should be caged up.
Guest Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 I remember rangers fans doing the same :-/
Guest lenwadebob Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Should it matter who they were supporting NO. They were asked for a minutes silence in respect of ALL the brave men and women who gave their lives so that those very idiots could have a better quality of life. If they are so narrow minded that football is all they think about, have they not thought that many of the fallen in the wars were also football supporters of their chosen team, albeit Celtic or Rangers.

Chris Little Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Absolute disgrace..... Scotland's Real Shame !!!!
Guest strapper Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 they should have been removed and banned by their club wether playing home or away.
Guest Owen Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 No-one can excuse the sort of behaviour that these idiots showed. And I am the last one to try to make excuses for them. But I have to say that there is a awful lot of serious frustration in Britain these days. And I am sure it will express itself in the worst possible ways, and in the most unlikely places. When I served in the forces, I quickly learned that the Scots are some of the best soldiers ever. Just have a look at the make up of the S.A.S. and the Paras. So it definately does not follow that the Scots are in some way anti soldier or anti British in general. When you look at what things are like in the UK these days, I think it is possible that we are going to see a lot more expressions of discontent. Lack of jobs, yet it is OK to employ foriegn labour and encourage people from other countries to continue to come here. Businesses take their work abroad to cut costs placing more and more out of work. Skilled workers are poached from third world countries who can not afford to loose their skills. Africa is crying out for Docters, yet we encourage them to come to the UK when we should train our own. No-body asked us if we would be happy to allow the Europeans to run our Country. Most of us thought we were involved with a trading set up. There is serious violence on the streets yet no-one seems to care. The Bankers have robbed us blind and continue to do so in spite of the promises to stop the robbery. The Politicians have less and less to do yet they to have had a wonderful time riding the gravy train. And I heard that the recommendations we all thought would kerb their spree are probably not going to be introduced. No surprise there then. There is loads of this stuff if we care to look at it. And I accept that there are no excuse for anyone behaving like morons but I think I can see why. A growing number of us are fed up with the establishment and want to express disgust at the way we are being disrespected. Not at all nice but inevitable. I think it is a terrible thing when the objects of our discontent get away with it all and, we turn on our neighbours to show our displeasure. It is a pity we could not be even more suportive to our friends and neighbours and show our anger and disgust at those who are really diserving of it.
BLACK W F Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 yes makes no difference whos fans they are they have no moral fibre and should have been ejected to afganastan or iraq see if they are happy there morons and idiots
hepste Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Owen, the points you make, I suspect, are nothing to do with the reason the fans behaved like they did. It is the historical anti British sentiment, expressed by a Catholic club, against what is seen as the protestant establishment, in the same way the Rangers/Celtic matches are viewed. It is regrettable, but some cannot let go of what they see as the injustices, and battles that happened years ago.
Roland Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 So sad yet again. These are the horrid headlines and reasons whilst the Brits are viewed so poorly abroad, indeed with waryness. Regardless of what ones personal beliefs regards wars, the onnus is an unwritten law that augers we show respect, not only to thoses that gave their' lifes, but also for those alive and are missing, even mourning loved ones, whom in small small, personal way, gain just a mite of solace the blief that their lives, injuries etc. weren't in vain. I feel for those that care, because it smacks in their face that efforts were futile, and puts a blight on the price loved ones paid. Of course fortunately 99.9999% of the population know, and feel different.
Guest stevie-b Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 as a celtic fan i am very ashmed of the dead beat few who spoil it for genuine people
Fair Play Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 The really sad thing about this is the fact that young men from both sides of the Glasgow divide laid down there lives so that the morons could have have a better one.Sometimes you wonder where our priorities have gone
