Guest VADER Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Hi this might sound a stupid question but ive been given 3 x 5 ltr containers of aviform ultimate by a fancier who has packed it in they have never been used and the seals are still intact.the only problem is that they expired in 2007.is it best to bin them or chance using them.hes also given me a box of 10 bottles of garlic plus from stock nutrition again not been used but exp.2009.any help appreciated.vader

Guest Quarry Lofts Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Id use it aslong as it was still sealedI was told by a top pigeon vet that they tested canker infected pigeons on 20 year old out of date canker treatment and it cleared them straight up this vet had done a lot of these tests and the medication still worked fine he said aslong as stuff is still sealed and the stuff is not congealed together it will be fine so i cant see why the ultimate should be any differantjimmy

REDCHEQHEN Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 My pigeons are my babies would I give my own children 5 year old Ribena concentrate I found in the back of a cupboard(for instance) the answer is no I binned an expensive bottle of Hemp Oil that was use by Oct 2011, expensive it might have been, but it would cost an awful lot more to replace my birds (IF I could replace them) if anything happened to them by 'penny pinching' It's just not worth it
