andy Posted December 13, 2011 Author Report Posted December 13, 2011 No surprises at AGM with all officials re-elected unanimously. Birdage still 25p through to Huntingdon for O/B and Newark for Y/B. Fed Open races are Eastbourne O/B and Leicester Y/B with the SNFC. Midweek O/B and Y/B races from Peterborough, maximum 5 entries per loft pre-nominated on the Friday of first O/B and Y/B races. PS: The secretary even got a rise!!! First since 1976, so he says, but we've heard different....

Henrik Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 would also be interested to see As far as I can see it will be the same as last year but no dates set as yet. Waiting on the SNFC race dates before setting the starting dates as Pentland are using the YB National as their Open Race.
andy Posted December 14, 2011 Author Report Posted December 14, 2011 Same prog as last season, however Thirsk, Wetherby and Selby Y/B races will be a mid-day/early afternoon libs to try and let all the shorter fliers birds get away home, instead of most liberating an hour or so after us from shorter race points and the birds getting tangled up. If weather dodgy for afternoon lib, then Saturday basketing for Sunday lib. The race Controller will decide whats happening on the day and update Lib-Line as and when required.

Hi Andy Can understand the the reason behind the idea, but has the race controller still got the power to liberate early Saturday if forecast for the rest of the weekend is really bad. cheersGareth
