Guest Geo Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 No that is fact with at least 50% of these guys. i don't touch racers/homers, its clever big birds I'm into working birds that only look at others pouters thats the game here we did get wee homer hen at the doo shop years ago for £1.50 because we didn't know what we were doing other than that ive never seen any about, and any that are caught are useless for our purpose so they would be released to go and do their thing

Guest Geo Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 well Ive caught two birds and not one needed the hood, just my vocal whoop boy whoop and a bit off booing and after that i basically picked them up, I'm the only guy here flying birds in the area so at the moment no need for the hood(to catch others birds) but i want to give the birds what they are accustomed to witch is a set of boxes/hollers with a backboard and a hood broad, sometimes a birds Will fart about to much and wont come in but stand on the board (window in my case ) and drive you nuts and a hood can be drawn slowly just to end the birds indecision and bring some frustration to a swifter end if ye know wit a mean
geordie1234 Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Andy its no.the fear of the hood a smart doo should know if they touch the board they are caught if ye know what a mean. the hood is hidden down the sides of the board then as soon as the doo touches the board whack theyre caught
