Bought kit of 6 frae louella five years ago, dead before basket! Sure you will get better joy. They just wer not wot I liked but you have tae kiss a few frogs as they say!

I have one Jan Loot - a hen,a latebred purchased in a charity sale late 2007, she was not raced until 2009 and had a couple of 7th/8ths but we have high hopes for her in the stock loft where she has bred a Fed topper this year.

my cousin bought 20 ybs in when he set up a loft at his home ,from Louella , a few went in the bin straight away . from memory paid £100 a piece ,after racing was left with 4 ,3 cocks and a hen . on widowhood 3 cocks raced well , 1 exceptionally so . the hen became mother and grandmother to countless winners at club ,fed and special,s.

Mick McMurchie from Fife in Scotland does still have the Jan Loots, and regularly advertises them in the BHW, I believe he had an advert only a couple of weeks ago.
