THERE WAS METHOD IN HIS MADNESS
frank-123 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 He done very well.just maybe next year the committee could have a race programme both east and west just as a base to go from then it would stop the clowns shouting out race points they don't even have a clue where it is never mind if it is suitable for two hgv's
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 He done very well.just maybe next year the committee could have a race programme both east and west just as a base to go from then it would stop the clowns shouting out race points they don't even have a clue where it is never mind if it is suitable for two hgv'sMakes you wonder if there is a better way for the race program to be decided ?
lanarkshire lad Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Yes well done to John Quinn for controlling the meeting.I coudnae do it.
JohnQuinn Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Thanks for the vote of confidence lads its appreciated. My own thought is that the club Delegates should meet before the AGM and put a program together that reflects the members wishes from all over the fed. I do NOT think they should DECIDE where we go but the proposed program would at least be feasible unlike Many of the proposals at the moment
sammy Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Thanks for the vote of confidence lads its appreciated. JohnQuinn Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I also think a working group Should be formed to look at the constitution and rules of the Fed as i think its out dated and being rode over too often. Its all very well precedents being set that are contrary to the constitution but imo it should Never happen. If a member has a proposal that is against the rules of the Fed then it should be preceded with the necessary proposal to change the rule first. JMO mind!!
Big Davie Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 THERE WAS METHOD IN HIS MADNESS Cmon then Nogin, fill us in

He knows more than anyone the good sites and poor places

Walter swanston Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Lanarkshire is none of my business but I have personal experience in how hard it is to control a noisy and rowdy meeting, by all accounts you have done well John congratulations
PIGEON_MAN Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Makes you wonder if there is a better way for the race program to be decided ?Maybe have a look how our fed decides the following years programme. The management committee (2 members from each club in the fed) shall appoint annually a sub committee to formulate the following years race programme. The sub committee will canvas each club for preferences and taking these into account together with site availability and suitability will formulate a choice of 2 inland and continental race programmes for voting on by the management committee(2 members from each club).
