lanarkshire lad Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Let the hens out today in the Afternoon for a bath, they were drying off in the garden and on the loft when a big feckin hen sparrow hawk went into them and pinned a yearling hen in the garden i was watching fae the kitchen window at the time,my son ran down the stair like a maniac to frighten it off .When he came back down the stair the futtin hawk was under the loft with the doo,so we ran outside and looked under the dookit and there was the hawk running about like a wee dug after the doo.It wont run after a doo ever again after it was frightened away Bingo .

Time he got door closed the b*stard got out!! Thats one reason why I dont like the open bowl system people do! Edited October 15, 2011 by b.massey

I've only ever had the one pigeon nabbed, and ridge she had been sitting on was covered in white. Sounds like the tower is its hunting ground.
