i dont think i`l be racing just yet!

we recently found out expecting another little bundle of joy but with that said i will not be giving up the doo's and they wont take a back seat i just dont think i can dedicate as much time as they would beed to be raced?

to b honest i enjoy them for who and what they are at present thats not to say i wont start racing but at the minute i think i`l be leaving the racing on the back burner

there to be enjoyed , thats enough for you , then thats great too.

Have any of you made any changes or alterations to your lofts, in preparation for the forth coming season?

If so, what have you done? and why have you felt it necessary?

Thank you and good luckhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/animatedpigeons.gif

have put 12 new nestboxes in (because there werent any) have put false floors in 2 sections (the loft was "pre-owned" and 30 years of scraping had taken its toll) still a host of small jobs to be done tho :emoticon-0138-thinking:

some ventilation changes which i think have improved things

Hopefully taking out the box perches in my young bird loft and replacing them with the lift off type, birds should be a lot cleaner and it will save me cleaning the perches every day.

After over 8mths of back pain and not being able to carry baskets up and down stairs I had two phone calls from members :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: telling me about a hoist system in LIDL just had to go for a look and ended up buying it

Youngest son here at the moment and decided today he was going to set it up put scaffold pole on wall to fit it to and then said if it does not work you can fly a flag from it :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Delighted to say it's up and running :emoticon-0123-party: :emoticon-0123-party:
