Time Scottish Football got back to basics and develop young home grown talent ,to many so called by the newspapers foreign stars playing here when in fact they are all has been's ,I thought the idea of Celtic and Rangers having such modern development facilities was to bring through good youngsters,THAT MUST BE 10 YEARS NOW WHERE ARE THEY

Good point,Scotland in the past produced a list of great players but they seem to have dried up,I know I'm going back a bit but when I watched football with a passion the list was endless,on Merseyside alone we had the likes of Alex Parker,Geo Thompson,Jimmy Gabriel,Alex Scott,Alex Young,St.John,Willie Stevo,Ronnie Yeats,etc.I could go on Denis Law,Jim Baxter,the Leeds players and not to forget King Kenny,all great players,as I said the list was endless but it appears to have come to an end.

i think a lot of it the down to the methods of training and winning is to important at under age level what i mean by this i bet its more important for the Spanish and the Brazil under 21 team and younger that play a certain attractive style of football than a winning style as in pump the ball up in the air until England Wales Scotland Ireland start thing the same with there kids we will always be behind

Scottish football is bad but there is not the same money going in to it as the English game as for the hearts game how many players were English in the spurs team and how many were Scottish in the hearts team and when you look at the English game how many super stars are foreign its not that the English players are that good it's they can bye the good foreign players the only differs is money

i agree but i really do believe until we change our mind set at underage level it wont improve this barca team or Spanish was not made in the last 5 or 6 year started 15 year ago
