Roland Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 player sin binned cost wales 17pts. Come of it Paul.... For starters look at that first try you scored in the second half! Three times the Ref stopped and gave the Welsh another chance because England had won it.... Once penalising for rubbish when the Welsh collapsed the scrum ... then twice for nothing lol. Then stated our flanker had cone 'Round' when in fact, as the Commentated stated especially after the replays he hadn't as much as moved. Then when our player dived over and goyt the ball - awarded the penalty, when in fact that also was a fair and ligitamate move. It had cleared, the Welsh did have it, and the player wone it fairly. So those are the reasons, and there were several, why Wales got the bit between their teeth. Wales could play the English as simple as that... yes we had some lean spells as there always is. But remember this was a seasoned and expierenced Welsh side, against an up and coming side still gelling together. Like I said, England are on the way up, and will soon be dominate again.

Like I said, England are on the way up, and will soon be dominate again. england pounced on mistakes to score in the 2nd half, they didnt earn it by getting into the welsh half through pressure, also wales was denied a try when the ref said the welsh player had hit the ball forward with his hand..when it showed that it had hit his chest and no where near his hand..but fair play to england for taking their chances...but to say england are on the up...anyone could see that if wales had been had better discipline it would have been oh so different. but england dominated the game ..nah wales will bounce back lol
Roland Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 That try wasn't disallowed for a knock on Paul, it was because it wasn't actually touched down. Yes that is what makes winners and losers, mistakes often, and touches of oppertunism, and a digit of class or brilliance. But isn't that why we have hope for the next game ... If only! :-/ The try Wales got was because of THREE consecretive bad decisions by the REF in a row. Unbelievably so at that! Plus needlessly warning the English scrum for things that they hadn't done, besides the lecture of what they should do and what he expected them to do! Never heard the likes before, no place for it and cof course certainly should ever have happen or been said - curtailing the players!. Unbelievably so at that also!
