Guest stb- Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I am the same, cant stand them BUT, I was in a top national guys loft and he had a few watery feeders. He said it didnt make any odds to the ybs??? To back this up he told me one of the ybs I pointed out won the longest race that year. Food for thoughtA JUST CANNY GO THE MESS DEL , NEVER KEPT THEM THAT LONG TO TRY THEM MIND YOU
Delboy Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Race them and if they win the national then ye wont give a monkeys if they are sloppy bassas when feeding ybs
billt Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I think we're missing the point, if the young look fine then they are, rearing young is a natural thing, we always want to be poking something extra down their throat

Guest IB Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 IMO if all put 2 are fine, I don't see any sense in changing everything round, cos then nothing is likely to be fine. Carry on as before, just keep a careful eye on the problem pair, even then likely to be wet feeders that will come good in their own good time.
geordie1234 Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 cheers guys i will keep a close eye on things and let use know
hawked again Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I read in the BHW a year or two ago (think it was Bilco) put a splash of lemon juice in the water for wet feeders.
gulkie Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 matrix was mentioned earlier to much of this will make the parents drink a lot moreif its only the one pair I wouldn't panic
geordie1234 Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 matrix was mentioned earlier to much of this will make the parents drink a lot moreif its only the one pair I wouldn't panicthis makes sense because lately the drinker has been near empty in the morning and all the matrix was away
nogin Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 MATRIX.. TO MUCH OF A GOOD THING IS BAD, JUST LIKE GULKIE SAY'S, I AGREE WITH HIM
