I am the same, cant stand them BUT, I was in a top national guys loft and he had a few watery feeders. He said it didnt make any odds to the ybs??? To back this up he told me one of the ybs I pointed out won the longest race that year. Food for thought

A JUST CANNY GO THE MESS DEL , NEVER KEPT THEM THAT LONG TO TRY THEM MIND YOU

I think we're missing the point, if the young look fine then they are, rearing young is a natural thing, we always want to be poking something extra down their throat :emoticon-0138-thinking:

IMO if all put 2 are fine, I don't see any sense in changing everything round, cos then nothing is likely to be fine. Carry on as before, just keep a careful eye on the problem pair, even then likely to be wet feeders that will come good in their own good time.

matrix was mentioned earlier to much of this will make the parents drink a lot more

if its only the one pair I wouldn't panic

this makes sense because lately the drinker has been near empty in the morning and all the matrix was away

When some pigeons are moved from different ends/lofts for whatever reason stresses them out.Going back to what i said earlier if they are treated correctly and sound you wont have any problems.

I read in the BHW a year or two ago (think it was Bilco) put a splash of lemon juice in the water for wet feeders.

Been trying the lemon juice on my own wet feeders for a couple of days and can defo say.............it was a waste of time!
