the council meeting of the FIFE FEDERATION will be held in the THORNTON town hall on the 14th January 2011,at 7pm, and the AGM on the 5th FEBRUARY 2011 at 1pm in the same venue,

the only way the SNFC AGM's get a good turn out nowadays is if there is something controversial on the agenda, perhaps the RPRA proposal should be included every year.

gareth we all pay the same fees pal so i dont think it should come down to the region with the majority as you say they are not attending it so maybe a shift every year would be healthy . i like your thought about having it the morning after the presentation night that way there will plenty of members and members from each section/region to have their say .good luck for the season ahead gareth m8

The reason Fife fed agm has been changed to the 5th of feb, is because it clashed with the snfc agm on the 29th of jan. So the next question is, when is the snfc agm? 29th of jan or 5th of feb?

 

As for travelling to the agm to have your say, robbie is quite right in saying we all pay the same fees. However if its on your door step and costs nothing to get there, its slightly different when you have to use a tank of fuel to get there and back, and takes up a whole day instead of a few hours.

 

Its high time there should be a postal ballot which caters for ALL its members and not the closest living members. How hard can it be, not very imo.

i would add dundee to that

so the northern lads travel time is down to 2 1/2 hours each way

saying that it would still take the lads from wick 6+ hours each way

DONT SEE THAT WORKING AS ONE MAN COULD SIT WITH ALL HIS FEDERATION MEMBERS NATIONAL NUMBERS AND VOTE EN -BLOCK ,WE DO THE SAME TO GET OUR FITBA TICKETS ,GOT TO BE AT AGM OR ONLY OTHER ALTERNETIVE WOULD BE POSTAL VOTE WHICH WOULD BE FAIREST ,BUT HOW WOULD WE NO WHAT WE WERE VOTING FOR AS RACE PROGRAMME CAN BE ADDRESSED FROM FLOOR .
