VMS Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 I do not think the building trade is suffering too much here as i have taken some quotes for a brick wall at the front of the house and also to divide the garden and price has been absurd for what they said is a week job (Supplying my own Joey also) Think you have to appreciate Bricklayers as Artists mate, then just imagine that you are buying a unique piece of art work, then it may appear Cheap. :D :D :D

VMS Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Would amaze you what some people think brickwork will cost them, have had some instances when what the client was expecting to pay would just about cover the costs of the materials.Garages charge anything from £30 to £45 per hour labour same should apply to Bricklayers.
