Before you all get carried away with the outraged comments, there are plenty of idiots around us. How about the people who love the idea of killing badgers after maiming them. Then there are the fools who shoot wild pigeons, "Because they are vermin". Vermin to who and where. Of course we must remember the "Sportsmen" who chase and kill deer and hare. These people are not in need of food and love to kill by the remoteness of a gun. I could have more respect for the sportsmen who put themselves on the line by involving themselves in contact sports where they will have to show courage and skill to win.

I reckon all these types should be locked up and made to work the tread mill under the whip every day of their lives.

For your info, it was cattle that infected badgers in the first place. That happened in the real world, just same as mad cow disease / cjd, and bird flu. All born on a farm, spills over into wildlife, rest of world suffers.

I totally disagree with the video its a disgrace,however im not against hunting i do think it is a sport that requires a lot of skill and if i was a farmer and badgers or any animal was harming my livestock and my lively hood in anyway i wood get rid just the same way we all want rid of BOP

ang on minute im not on about nothink todo with them in that video im on about pest vermin control raceing pigeons aint vermin wood pigeons are what they are doing in that video is fun killing no respect for the animal when i am controlling vermin on land i got rights to be on be it wood pigeons,rats,rabbits all legal quarry i give them the maximum respect if i cant get a clean shot so i now it wont suffer i dont take the shot not like them *expletive removed* holes in video thats shooting by looks of thing racers when they winged them shoot them again thats not right what i shoot is given maximum respect and nothink is wasted what i control i eat i dont go say ay up theres a rabbit there get rifle out of slip aim anywere shoot it and shoot it again as ive not dispatched it properly one shot 1 kill if i cant do that i dont squeeze trigger simple to many arseholes about no days give proper shooters a bad name most of them shouldnt even be able to shoot in a month of sundays and definately not at life quarry until they no they can put there shot placement everytime into the area that will dispatch the quarry instantly.

When people who do not own land, tell me what a good job they are doing when they kill wood pigeons, I think that they are nothing but vandels. If farmers want to control wood pigeons or anything else they should do it properly themselves or pay for it legally. Having a bunch of trigger happy people trying to kid the rest of us is not the answer. If it is true that badgers cause illness in cattle and not the other way around the authorities should deal with matters humanely, but first they should prove their case. A bunch of sadistic gits torturing them to death for pleasure is not something that should happen in a civilised society. I think it is time that people who torture and kill wild animals, without a reason, are stopped.

I have had my walls torn down and sheep scared witless by these so called sportsmen who charge about the countryside, usually with packs of dogs, uninvitated and unwanted. I have lost count of the number of loose dogs I have shot for worrying livestock. No-one minds them shooting their popguns at clays and the like, but for goodness sake leave the the live creatures alone. The people shown in the film are typical of some of the brainless idiots that live in America. The place is full of them. They are gun mad. If they can not shoot live creatures some of them are just as likely to shoot you. I know that the gang culture around Los Angeles area have plenty of drive by shootings where innocent people can be shot because they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I also see plenty of "Armed Response" notices outside ordinary homes in the area. All this because a relitvely small number of trigger happy individuals want to impose themselves on the rest of us.

you hit nail on head there end of day everyone different i was brought up around fieldsport and so on some agree to pest control some dissagree i dont agree on what they are doing in the video as that is nothink other then killing for fun off it i must add though some might think pest control means as it a registered pest or vermin you have got to shoot it when ever you see it pest control is keeping numbers down when they become a pest just because ie a grey squirrel or wood pigeon is a registered pest and you see them dont mean you got to shoot or control them pest control is controlling pests if and when they become a problem to be fair the press dont make it any good when you keep on hearing and seeing people going on mad shooting spree and turning gun n them selfs everyone is intiltiled to there own and i am a strong fieldsport follower always have and always be i hold my hands up if i have p'ss a few people of but thats me i say it as it is dont mean to b affence to no one but ive always been the same with anythink i feel strongly about.
