Guest Glen Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Blue bars. IMO theres nothing better looking than a team of healthy blue bars.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 the ones i was on about from long ago old yellow were red all over bordering on brown and no white in feathers like the one you got in pic,,,,,that sight of those coloured red pigeons never left me,but, never seen none since and that i believe was about 30 odd years ago now and i know they were dr rigg barkers 100% then at that time !!! i'd call this a chocolate but red on the flights as well ???
bewted Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 i'd call this a chocolate but red on the flights as well ??? the colour of the red flights in your pic is a bit more intense of dr rigg barkers,bt,i was all over the pigeon,,,,,,from head to tail !!
Guest IB Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I like a bit of colour about the loft; think this year I've got a lot of that :- blue, red, white, & dark grizzles; blue, & dark chequers; blue, red, & chequer pieds; chequer white flights; blue bars; and a mealy.

Rooster J. Cogburn Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Hope to put an end to my bad luck with mealies sometime soon. Can't seem to be able to keep a hold of them. I cursed one this year by picking it as my fancied youngster
alec guinness Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I am sure the majority of us have a colour of pigeon we have an eye for or favour. I personally like a nice Dark Pied WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR? any colour that can fly and score from a national race. :) although i do like a griz or blue pied. ;)
bewted Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 for vallance thats getting along the lines of reds of dr rigg barkers i remember,,,but,,,had no white in it at all,,,dr rigg barkers where red all over,,,but,,,definately not chocolate
