jonl6280 is the clock setter for Lanarkshire fed, if he comes on later i will ask him to post the correct info about this It will be more or less what is already posted but he can answer queries from the queries who don't get it

bad info.... Consideiring that i was told that the clocks will be checked the day after the race? so if i timed a good bird in and i did'nt take clock down till next day i would be disqaulifed!! then thats bad management. Not good practice.

Can you clear up the continuation of races on an ETS clock, then if we want your opinion on anything else we'll ask you

JOHN YES YOU CAN CARRY ON THE RACE but once clock cleared it comes up on clock as trainers

u can get a race progress and not strike off race

He stood upp and said look at the clock times on the wall. Which said clocks checked from 10am day after lib. zeek even was speaking about it today in doo club

prob wrong but i didnt think you could use a race progress to calulate a result

you have to wait till you get your final print off for that

I got a text from Jim this morning telling me they HAD to be checked on day of timing in!! Obviously a wee mix up somewhere in the communications dept

 

I don't know about anybody else but i canny get ma print out quick enough, for fear something goes wrong after timing in. Where clocks of any description are concerned there is always a possibility of catastrophe.

Sorry again if am bein thick but wot is the point of a progress report surely you can see that on yer clock. The print of that you might get as a report would be no good as a proof of time as yer clock has no been struck off?

Walter what is the problem with following rules?? If you think it is wrong go to the AGM and try to have it changed, the night before the race is no the time and this is no the place to get things changed. Best of luck for an early one and 100% returns on the shift

IAN THAT IS ONE THING I DONT DO STORIES have we got imunity over this rule as you seem to know every thing read the post youve to do with the clocks well anwser the post of delboy so we know what it means and i dont know if other fanciers in aberdeen has done a progress report why should i this post is about if you get a bird on the day youve got to take your clock to clock station and my reply was about pools so for god sake wise up

think its a dumb rule anyway, as all clocks have a day set, and each section should have there own ruling

as it is there are some races where the northern guys birds don't make it to the next day
