JohnQuinn
lanarkshire is needing to go back down the west route less traffic what do u think sammy Lanarkshire members who want to go down the west have Short memories, it was so bad we had to have a EGM to switch back down the East for the young bird program and that was only 3-4 years ago. Why would you think it will be any better now??

Why would you think it will be any better now?? Same here. North West Fed raced west route in 2005, meeting mid-season to change YBs back to east. Otherwise a large number of fanciers wouldn't have been racing YBs that year,

Why would you think it will be any better now??Route was changed because of the fear that the BOP problem would have damaging to the young bird season, but is the east route any better for BOP than the west, look at Tim Hall from Chirnside who is chucking the sport because it is that bad down there were we all think that its honeymoon country in regards to the BOP problem. The solway fed has switched back and forth frae west tae east over the last decade. At first the racin from the east seemed better and the returns were good. Sadly it eventually evened itself out. The west is obviously a harder route than the much flatter east coast purely because of the Cumbrian Hills and for you boys further up the Moffat Hills come into play.
